The programme is formulated in such a way that it will equip the designer with a piece of holistic knowledge and a well-balanced perspective of designing.

Our 6 Months Courses

Dressmaking (Womenswear)

Acquire practical skills in designing and sewing beautiful women’s clothing. Learn measurement taking, pattern cutting, garment assembly, fitting, and finishing for everyday and occasion wear.

Duration: 6 months 

Class Session: Weekdays & Weekends

Fee: GHC 5,000 for Ghanaian applicants and $1,200 for foreign applicants.

Tailoring (Menswear)

Build professional tailoring skills for men’s clothing. Learn precise measurements, pattern drafting, cutting, sewing, fitting, and finishing of shirts, trousers, kaftans, and suits.

Duration: 6 months

Class Schedule: Weekdays & Weekends

Fee: GHC 5,000 for Local applicants and $900 for foreign applicants.

Dressmaking

(Womenswear)

This course takes learners from beginner to advanced level in practical womenswear design and garment construction. Students start by mastering basic sewing skills, body measurements, fabric handling, and simple pattern drafting for skirts, tops, and dresses. At the intermediate stage, they progress to more complex silhouettes, pattern manipulation, fit correction, sleeves, collars, and trousers while improving precision and finishing techniques.

The advanced stage focuses on professional skills such as draping, contouring, bodice structuring, boning, couture details, and refined garment finishing. Learners design and produce sophisticated pieces, including tailored outfits, eveningwear, and bridalwear. By completion, students are equipped with strong technical ability and creative confidence to create high-quality womenswear for clients or industry use.

Duration: 6 months

Class Session: Weekdays & Weekends

Fee: GHC 3,500 for Local applicants and $900 for foreign applicants.

Dressmaking

This 3-month dressmaking course outline would typically cover basic sewing techniques, pattern making for women garments, fitting and alterations, and the construction of various garments like skirts, blouses, and dresses, with a focus on building foundational skills to progress to more complex projects later on.

Duration: 3 months

Class Session: Weekdays

Fees: GHC 2,000 for Local applicants & $150 for Foreign applicants.

Men Tailoring

With an emphasis on developing the fundamental skills necessary to advance to more complicated projects, this three-month men’s tailoring course would normally cover basic sewing techniques, men’s clothing pattern creation, fitting and alterations, and the construction of various garments like shirts, pants, Knickers, and waistcoats.

Duration: 3 months

Class Session: Weekdays

Fees: GHC 2,000 for Local applicants & $150 for Foreign

Payment plan for Fashion Design and Technology.
70% payment before the applicant starts class and 30% beginning of the first month of the second semester.

Installment payment plan for Suit Tailoring and Bridalwear.

70% payment; Beginning of first month.

30% payment; Beginning of third month.

The tuition fee for Beaded Jewelry, Make-up & Skin Care, Graphic Design and Digital Fashion & Photography.
They are to be paid in full before the applicant can be enrolled.

Application: The application fee is GHC 150  for local applicants and  $50 for foreign applicants for each course.

1-year Fashion Design and Technology: GHC 2500 for Ghanaian applicants and its equivalent for foreign applicants.

6 months Dressmaking, Bridalwear & Suit Tailoring: GHC 1,500 for Ghanaian applicants and its equivalent for foreign applicants.

3 months Beaded Jewelry, Make-up, and Graphic Design: GHC 900 for Ghanaian applicants and its equivalent for foreign applicants.
